The most important thing to do when getting hair extensions is matching you own color or curl and texture perfectly, we have a range of quality selected hair and we will ensure you look your best by professionally consulting and matching your correct hair type. Hair extensions should not hurt your hair when they are done correctly you should not have any discomfort with your Twist n' Twirl hair extensions.

How Long Does it Take?
A full head of extensions takes about 4 to 6 hours depending on how thick or thin your own hair is.

Bonding

Bonding extensions are removed with a special solution we put on the hair bonds that does not hurt you own hair, loc extensions are removed with a special unclamping plier type device that does not hurt your own hair as well.

There is sometimes questions from people wanting to know about hair extensions, they often ask “Is bonding, fusion or glue BAD ?” Essentially it is not when it is done correctly. When done correctly the glue/bonding method is one of the safest and most natural looking ways to have extensions done. Given this while the bonding method is very safe the Euro Loc's / Hair Loc's are the safest, but more expensive than the bonding.

How?
The hair extension is braided with your own hair using a variety of braids such as tree braid, braid weave, individuals, cornrow, and French braid. Each hair stylist will have their own unique braid that they prefer to use.

Types
There are several types of hair extensions, at Twist n Twirl I do the individual method, fusion, bonding, Euro Loc's and a few other methods.

Maintenance

You can shampoo and condition your hair every day if you wish, we only use 100% human hair so there is no need to use special shampoos and conditioners.

You can use gels, hair sprays, curling irons, hot rollers, blow dryers to style your hair extensions. They are all safe and will cause no problems at all. Remember, its all 100% human hair.

You can color your hair at the roots when you have hair extensions, just don't get the color on the extension hair. You can also color extension hair but please ask us what types of colors are safe to use on the hair.

When you have hair extensions you should expect them to last about 3 to 6 months we have many satisfied customers at our salon. Very little maintenance is needed, just taking care of your hair as usual will see you get the most from your hair extensions.. Make sure you tie your hair back when you go to sleep at night, keep it brushed so it does not get tangled.

Some so called hairdressers buy the glue they use at the hardware store or a craft store and then buy cheap hair at the swap meet, I don't buy my glue at the craft store and I don't buy hair at the swap meet.
